Howdy partner!
We are an independent
baseball club that is dedicated
to developing ballplayers who love the game and never quit. We are not a
Fast-pitch softball team, we play hardball! Bandits play as a team and play with a competitive
fervor.
Many of our players are former college athletes. Their experiences
vary
from softball, basketball, soccer, and field and track. We have
played in a
women's league, a men's league and are currently in our thirteenfth
consecutive season in the San Diego Adult Baseball League (SDABL).
The SDABL
is
a member of the National Adult Baseball Association (NABA). The SDABL has 13
divisions with 132 teams and is the largest amateur
adult
baseball
league in the United States.
Our mission is to...
- Provide an environment where we
develop
each player's skill, knowledge and appreciation for the game through
individualized coaching at practices and games,
- Continue to provide an outlet for
women
to play baseball competitively in Southern California, and
- Contribute to the development of
women's
baseball in our region.
Our club is open to
women 18
and older. If this sounds
